At Mimo, we envision a future where building software is as easy as having an idea. With Instance, a product we just launched, anyone can turn their ideas into production-ready apps, games, or websites that previously took entire development teams to build.

Content is key:

We’re looking for a talented content creator to help us bring Instance to life through video. You’ll work with us on a freelance basis, producing short- and long-form content that gets people’s attention and makes them laugh, think, and wonder.

This role is perfect for you if you’re already producing content on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, love to experiment with new tools, and want to help shape the future of software.

What you'll do:

• You’ll create highly engaging videos

  • Create 1 long-form video and 5 derived short-form videos per week

  • Refine and execute one-off videos from a pool of briefs

  • Script, shoot, edit, and post videos to different channels

• You’ll iterate on formats and improve over time

  • Measure and report engagement (likes, shares, comments, watch time)

  • Experiment with different hooks, styles, and formats

  • Stay on top of trends, experiment with and suggest ideas for formats

• You’ll get help distributing your content

  • We’ll support you with design and editing resources when needed

  • We'll help amplify your videos with distribution support

Job requirements

You'll thrive in this role if you…

• Know how to script, shoot, edit, and post engaging videos

• Have already produced a set of engaging short-form videos (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)

• Are creative and flexible across settings (content may be shot at home, some on the street)

• Have experience reading analytics and tweaking content to perform better

• Are excited about AI and software tools, and love sharing what you learn

Process

Here's how the application process works:

Step 1: Complete a challenge to showcase your creativity and style (as part of this application)

• Use this brief (https://mimodocs.notion.site/Building-Apps-While-Multitasking-1d8e32566b5c801e948ddcec6415d8b6) or come up with a different idea featuring Instance.

• Create a short-form video (15–30 seconds) highlighting your storytelling, editing, and on-camera presence.

• Upload it to YouTube, Vimeo, or a similar platform (private/unlisted).

• Submit the URL to your video along with your application.

Step 2: If we’re impressed, we’ll schedule a brief video call to get to know each other.

Step 3: We’ll invite you to a paid trial series (1 long-form + 5 short-form videos).

Step 4: If the collaboration goes well, we’ll talk to you about a long-term freelance or part-time/full-time role.

Compensation

• €100 for your approved challenge video (i.e., if we decide to move forward with your application)

• €1,250 per approved series of 1 long-form and 5 short-form videos (ideally 1 series per week)

• €250 bonus for series that exceed 25k views after 30 days

• If there’s a great fit, we’re happy to provide long-term freelance or part-time/full-time employment
