About You

• You’re a full-stack builder. You’ve developed and maintained production systems end-to-end. You’re comfortable writing frontend interfaces (React/Next.js preferred) and backend services (Python or Node.js ideal), and you’re not afraid to go deep into API design, database modeling, or CI/CD pipelines.

You know how to use AI tools to accelerate your own development process (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor), and you also get excited about building systems that enable others to use AI effectively. • Design and implement features that allow third-party AI agents to connect with Zapier’s platform and run activities for end-users across 8,000+ applications.

• Build and maintain tools and SDKs that help third-party developers quickly integrate with Zapier for an intuitive end-user experience.

• Establish and evolve our Model Context Protocol implementation - enabling intelligent, multi-step workflows derived from natural language.

• Collaborate closely with internal AI experts and partner teams to shape our collective future in agent-based automation.

• Own projects end-to-end, from solution design to implementation, testing, and post-launch support.

As a Staff Data Engineer on our Data Platform team, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our data platform. You'll be a key technical leader and contributor, shaping the future of how data is used. Your work will involve building and enhancing the core infrastructure and services that empower other developers and our data users.

Day-to-day, you will:

* Architect, design, and develop our data platform capabilities. This means getting hands-on to build the robust foundations our data and AI capabilities rely on. Including real-time streaming, orchestration, data warehousing and governance. We value deep expertise in at least two of these core areas.

* Actively contribute to our technical vision and roadmap,  including the estimation, planning, and execution of complex data platform projects, including new service integrations and major infrastructure upgrades

The role

We're looking for a Brand Motion Designer with exceptional motion graphics and video editing skills to join our remote team and bring our brand and marketing strategy to life through dynamic visual storytelling.

As part of our multidisciplinary Brand Studio team, you'll create compelling motion assets that communicate the value of Kit and build on our reputation as a high-quality, modern tool for professional creators.

You'll take ownership of how our brand moves and animates across all brand surfaces (such as marketing channels, campaigns, events, and even inside of our product) and you’ll help us drive key brand and product metrics - like conversion, awareness, and feature adoption through motion assets that resonate with our audience and differentiate Kit in the market. You’ll also play a core role in establishing Kit's motion design standards and systems.

This is a full-time IC role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about using motion as a powerful visual communication tool, and enjoys collaborating as part of an in-house creative team at a scaling company.

Your support system

You’ll report to our Creative Director, Charli Prangley, and collaborate closely with our two Senior Brand Designers, Product Designers, Product Marketing Managers, marketing channel managers and Brand Writer to create compelling assets. You’ll give and receive design feedback weekly in our standups and async in Slack, where we also regularly share creative inspiration with each other.

What you'll do

• First Week: Dive into our brand strategy documentation, visual identity systems, and current motion assets. Take part in Get To Know You's (GTKYs) to meet our distributed team.

• First Month: Start contributing to storyboarding and animating for our weekly product marketing releases and taking ownership of small motion design projects. Present a brand analysis and motion design opportunities assessment to the team.

• First Six Months: Successfully establish Kit's motion design language and create your first major product marketing motion graphics campaign. Lead the development of motion design templates and systems that other team members can use to bring our messaging to life. Ship motion assets that measurably improve campaign performance metrics like click-through rates, signups and feature adoption.

• First Year: You’ll play a key role in achieving Kit’s brand awareness and conversion goals by delivering high-performing motion assets that drive engagement, increase signups, and accelerate customer activation. You’ll also scale our motion design systems to enable faster campaign execution and consistent brand storytelling, directly contributing to our growth as the go-to platform for creators building profitable businesses.

Working hours and location

We're 100% remote with team members across the globe. We work mostly on East Coast time—so if you're based on the West Cost of the United States, Europe, or Asia, you might have a few early mornings or late evenings. We do our best to keep things reasonable, but a little time zone juggling comes with the territory. Brand Studio team members are currently based in Eastern US and Central European timezones, so this role requires availability for regular collaboration during the crossover period of those timezones.

Compensation + perk + benefits

Kit has standardized salaries based on position, no matter where you live. For this role, we’re hiring at our level 3 ($120,000). Level is determined based on experience and our interview process.

As an Account Director, you will be responsible for renewals and stakeholder management. 

You will work in coordination with Customer Success Managers and you will be the primary contact of the executives. Your primary responsibility will be driving renewal, creating expansion and MRR Raise opportunities, contract terms including price negotiations, and managing high-level stakeholders through all account bases. Your daily responsibilities will include sponsor nurturing, discovering all stakeholders and their needs to be matched with Insider product suites, Business Reviews, renewal processes, contract negotiations.

Job Description

• Own a portfolio of existing accounts and take responsibility for their retention and growth.

• Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities within existing accounts.

• Proactively own renewals in accounts in cooperation with the Customer Success team.

• Succeed in a team selling environment for maximum account penetration and coverage.

• Consistently forecast monthly and quarterly performance.

• Negotiate deals and contracts at various levels within the targeted account, with primary focus/importance on “C” and enterprise level negotiations.

• Participating in meetings with key stakeholders starting from onboarding kick-off and Business Review meetings.

• Discovering strategic needs and direction of the customers, setting goals and objectives with a customer that will enable the teams to drive business impact.

• Analyzing stakeholder mapping and setting overall strategy to capture right frequency in touchpoints.

• Taking ownership of renewal success and strategy to achieve key commercial/contractual targets.

• Ensuring Customer Success realization is achieved and recognized across key stakeholders and reaching NPS targets ensuring best customer experience and success recognition.

• Achieving customer advocacy goals with the marketing team with success stories, and testimonials.

• Monitoring market trends and industry analysis to nurture key stakeholders aligned with Insider Product and Strategic Roadmap execution.

What we expect from you?

• 7+ year experience in Customer Success Management, Account Management, or Sales, ideally in SaaS.

• Proven oral and written communication abilities, positive and energetic phone skills, and exquisite listening skills. Alas, we’ve got clients all over the world!

• Proven track record of using sales & persuasive skills.

• To be a self-motivated and savvy tech bug, always in search of savvy solutions and ideas to improve our relationship with our clients.

• To cherish one of our core ethos: care. You’ll need to care for our clients and make sure they feel at home with our products and our around the clock support.

• Passion for testing, measuring, and improving outreach and follow up effectiveness.

• Strong communication skills in both writing and speaking (both English and French).

• High sense of responsibility and accountability.

• A strategic thinker with excellent project and time management skills.

• Experience negotiating and navigating contracts and legal discussions.

• Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment.

• Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through with verbal and written communication.

• Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences and various levels of management (Senior Marketing Executives, IT management, Database administrators, and Data Scientist).

• Proven track record of building relationships and need discovery with senior customer executives in large or highly strategic accounts,

• Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solutions/engagements required.
